WHO WE ARE

Jamie’s Mom’s house is a part of The Centre For Excellence of Pensacola, a US non-profit organization whose purpose is to offer practical resources, training, hope and support for individuals and families, seeking to overcome a variety of life challenges including poverty, addiction and joblessness.

Founded by Melissa Moyer Pusch in 2020, Jamie’s Mom’s House is a place of hope and healing for loved ones of those lost to addiction. By offering online support, group interaction, and personal ministry Jamie’s Mom’s House provides individuals the opportunity to heal together. Whether you are someone who has lost a loved one to addiction, someone who knows someone currently struggling with the disease or are the one struggling yourself, Jamie’s Mom’s House is here to love, give a hand up, encourage and support.

“Yesterday can never be recovered through our guilt and tears, but the future is ours to win, as we let go of our fault and fears.”

WHAT WE DO

LOVE every mother, father, sister, brother, grandparent, cousin, aunt, uncle, spouse, child, and friend who’s life has been impacted by addiction.

SUPPORT those who are walking through their worst fears and hardest hours, bringing hope to hopeless situations and a light to their darkest night.

ENCOURAGE, through a warm embrace, a listening ear, a kind word, a friendly note, or a hot meal, we are there cheering you on so you can keep pressing through.

A HAND UP,  offering free practical skills courses, a ride to rehab, financial assistance with funerals, and food, we are here to assist when people are ready for change.

A Note From Jamie's Mom

Jamie loved God, people and life. He was a star basketball player, a talented artist, he played drums and graduated Bible college. He was and is a much-loved brother, son, grandson, uncle and friend. Jamie's story of lost life and lost potential teaches us to be kinder, more forgiving, more ready to say I'm sorry and to let go of grudges and resentment. It teaches us to be fearlessly honest about the counterfeit high of drugs that offer everything but deliver nothing. Jamie's story teaches us how fragile life is and how important it is to intentionally love those God has given us, no matter the struggle. Life has put me on a personal path that I would have never chosen or imagined, but in order to honor the memory of my son, my heart must go on and I must forge a new way of living. Today I may walk with a limp, but I press on to live and win the future. Love, Jamie's Mom
